Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 22, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Keyology!

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Keyology website, digital educational programs, courses, and related learning materials.

Keyology is operated by Brittney Pressley Studios, LLC ("Keyology," "we," "us," or "our").

These Terms set out the conditions for using our website and purchasing and accessing our educational products. Please review them before purchasing. Your purchase is subject to the Terms presented at checkout and any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

PatternPiano is intended for adult learners. We do not represent that we verify every visitor’s or purchaser’s age.

If you have questions, contact us at support@keyologypiano.com.

2. Our Products and Services

Keyology provides online piano education programs and related learning resources.

Our signature program, PatternPiano by Keyology, is a self-paced digital piano course built around the PLAY-BY-PATTERN™ teaching method.

Depending on the product purchased, educational materials may include video lessons, guided exercises, workbooks, chord charts, practice resources, musical accompaniment tracks, and other instructional content.

The specific materials included with a purchase are described on the applicable product page at the time of enrollment.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchases do not include private lessons, live coaching, or individualized instruction.

We may introduce additional courses, products, or services in the future. These are not automatically included with previous purchases unless expressly stated.

3. Purchases and Payments

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.

The amount shown as due now is payable at checkout using the available payment methods. If you select a payment plan, additional payments apply as presented at checkout.

Payments are processed through our course platform and its supported payment-processing providers.

By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.

PatternPiano is available through the payment options presented at checkout. The current options are a single payment of US $397 or three monthly payments of US $149, totaling US $447, before any applicable taxes disclosed at checkout. Select and review your payment option before completing your purchase.

We reserve the right to change product pricing or introduce promotional offers. Price changes do not retroactively alter completed purchases.

Applicable taxes or other charges will be disclosed at checkout as required by law.

4. Refund Policy

PatternPiano is a digital educational program that provides access to online lessons and course materials upon purchase.

All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for changes of mind, lack of use, or failure to complete the program, except as required by applicable law.

Please review the program description, curriculum, included materials, and access terms before purchasing.

If you encounter technical difficulties accessing purchased content, please contact us at support@keyologypiano.com so we can assist you.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection laws.

Customers may request a written copy of this Refund Policy by contacting support@keyologypiano.com.

Statutory cancellation rights

The final-sale policy above does not override mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights.

Where EU or UK consumer cancellation rules apply to your purchase of online digital content, you generally have 14 days after the contract is concluded to cancel without giving a reason. A longer period or other protection may apply under the law governing your purchase. We do not treat acceptance of these Terms, payment, or access to PatternPiano alone as a waiver of an applicable cancellation right.

To exercise an applicable cancellation right, email support@keyologypiano.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel, your name, the email used for the purchase, and sufficient information to identify the order. You may use the optional notice below, but you do not have to use it. Sending your notice before the applicable cancellation period expires is sufficient to meet that deadline.

Where you validly exercise a statutory right to cancel the purchase, we will reimburse the payments required by applicable law without undue delay and, where EU or UK cancellation rules require it, no later than 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice. We will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without charging a reimbursement fee. Any further payments and continued course access will be handled in accordance with the cancellation and applicable law.

You may learn at your own pace and revisit your purchased lessons and included materials throughout that period.

Lifetime access does not automatically include future standalone products, paid services, subscriptions, or separately sold expansions.

Course availability

We intend to maintain access to PatternPiano as an ongoing educational program.

However, changes in technology, platform availability, licensing arrangements, business operations, or other circumstances may require modifications to how the program is delivered.

If we permanently discontinue the PatternPiano program, we will provide affected purchasers at least 30 days’ advance notice using the email address associated with their purchase. We will address affected customers’ rights and remedies in accordance with applicable law. This notice commitment does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may not record and distribute substantial portions of paid instructional videos or share course materials through unauthorized websites, file-sharing services, or public platforms.

These restrictions do not limit rights provided by applicable law.

9. Educational Results

PatternPiano is designed to help students develop musical understanding and practical piano skills.

However, individual learning experiences and outcomes will vary.

Progress depends on factors including prior experience, participation, practice, and individual learning needs.

We do not guarantee that every student will achieve a particular level of musical proficiency or reach a specific result within a particular timeframe.

Course descriptions and student testimonials reflect educational goals or individual experiences and should not be interpreted as guarantees of identical results.

10. Technical Requirements

Accessing PatternPiano requires a compatible device, internet connection, and supported web browser.

Students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own internet connection and equipment.

A piano or keyboard is recommended for practicing the musical skills taught in the program.

Some course materials or third-party features may have additional technical requirements, which will be communicated where applicable.

We will make reasonable efforts to address access problems within our control.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies customers may have under applicable law.

13. Acceptable Conduct

When using our website, services, or student accounts, you agree not to:

  • Use the services for unlawful activities.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems.
  • Share purchased course access without authorization.
  • Upload or transmit malicious software.
  • Interfere with the security or operation of our website or course platform.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of Keyology or others.

We may take reasonable steps to address violations, including restricting access where appropriate and legally permitted.

Any suspension or termination affecting purchased access will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the customer's contractual rights.

14. Third-Party Services

Keyology uses third-party services to operate its website, deliver courses, communicate with students, and process transactions.

These services may include Podia, Kit, payment processors, website-hosting providers, and other operational tools.

Certain activities may be subject to the separate terms and privacy practices of those providers.

We are not responsible for every action of independent third-party services, but nothing in these Terms limits responsibilities or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or legal requirements.

When material changes are made, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required by law.

Changes will not retroactively eliminate material rights associated with completed purchases unless permitted by applicable law.
